A Movie Lovers Guide to a Better RFP

Why, you ask, should I listen to an agency give advice on how to conduct a request for proposal (RFP)? And what does this have to do with liking movies?

Each year we receive dozens of RFPs, and we’ve seen good ones and we’ve seen bad ones. Yes, a well-written RFP is helpful to the agency, but ultimately you and your brand will benefit because the proposals you receive will be focused and on strategy.

A strong RFP requires you to get input from your team and make decisions up front. This helps to clarify the evaluation process and allows comparison agencies on a level playing field. Agencies should provide on-target strategies that will best meet the objectives of your brand and you benefit by getting the best pitch from each agency.

Oh, and about the movies? You’re right – this has nothing to do with movies but we like to have fun, so we used some “famous” movie lines to help make our points. See if you can guess the actor, the character and the movie they’re from.
